The story behind Mr Bryan Goh and Dr Tezuka Shigeaki
Behind NANO Hair Growth & Scalp Care Clinic is a partnership built on two different but complementary strengths — scientific research and business execution.
In Japan, Dr Tezuka Shigeaki and his research team focused on the study of hair growth and scalp health, developing and evaluating solutions designed to address different hair and scalp concerns. Their work formed the scientific foundation behind the NANO concept.
But scientific research alone does not create real-world impact.
As one of the co-founders of NANO Hair Growth & Scalp Care Clinic Pte Ltd, Mr Bryan Goh took responsibility for investment, project development, strategic planning and execution — helping transform the work developed with the Japanese research team into a structured hair and scalp care business.
His belief was simple:
Good science should not remain in the laboratory. It should become a solution that people can actually experience.
This philosophy helped shape the way NANO developed its professional system.
From the early years, NANO placed strong emphasis on professional training, scalp assessment before treatment, structured care protocols and the development of an authorised dealer network. Rather than approaching every hair-loss or scalp concern in the same way, the objective was to first understand the condition of the scalp and hair before determining an appropriate care programme.
It became a collaboration with clearly defined responsibilities:
Dr Tezuka Shigeaki and the Japan team — research, product development and evaluation.
Mr Bryan Goh — investment, project development, planning and execution.
One side focused on creating the science.
The other focused on bringing that science into the real world.
